According to the Canadians Council of Scholars (CCS) constitution and subject to the board of trustees and approval, a person who satisfies the criteria below at the time of application for membership is eligible to apply for Membership:
1. Must profess the school of legal Islamic thought (Shia Muslim Twelver) and committed to the objects of Canadians Council of Scholars (CCS).
2. Must be a citizen or permanent resident in Canada.
3. Must avoid any doubt or leading an infamous life style contrary to the principles of Shariah or being externally seemed not of an upright person or character.
4. Clear of any criminal record including financial criminal records.
5. Not known for clear innovations that’s not disputed amongst the mainstream Muslim scholars.
6. Actively engaged in any field of Islamic Dawah in a Masjid, Islamic centre, and Islamic school in Canada.
7. Further documentations will be requested to support your application.
8. Turn around of an application form is approximately 15 days.
9. The Canadians Council of Scholars (CCS) reserves the right to accept or decline membership applications.
